Vancouver Walking Tour
Visiting Vancouver? Book a unique private walking tour with the author of Walking Vancouver, Drinking Vancouver, Lonely Planet Vancouver City Guide and many more.
The three-hour walking and transit tour is packed with colourful anecdotes, unexpected history, quirky hidden artworks and insider knowledge. The tour covers Gastown, Chinatown, the Downtown Eastside and Granville Island.
If you’re on a layover at Vancouver International Airport, I can also meet you at your terminal, take you on a guided tour of the city and bring you back to the airport in time for your connecting flight.
The tour is highly personalized and you’re encouraged to request tips for the rest of your visit to the region–from great dining, bar and attraction recommendations to suggestions for out-of-town day trips and province-wide excursions. Or if you’re an aspiring travel writer, you might like to ask a few questions about that.
Tours cost $175 for either one or two people. This includes transit tickets and a signed copy of one of my recent books–you’ll be given a choice of titles when you make a reservation.
